Heal the Mind Psychology uses a person-centred approach, creating a safe, empathetic, and validating space for anyone seeking psychological support.
" ... the scars you can't see, are some of the hardest to heal ..."
What type of support can Heal the Mind Psychology provide for me?
The practice primarily focuses on supporting adults experiencing a range of mental health and wellbeing concerns, providing a safe, compassionate and person-centred space to explore what they may be experiencing.

Grief & Loss
Grief & loss can take many forms. It might be the death of someone you love, the end of a relationship, changes to your health, or simply finding yourself in a life that looks very different from the one you knew or envisioned. Fiona provides a caring, compassionate and safe space where you can bring whatever you’re (emotionally) carrying, take the time you need, and gently unravel what you’re experiencing as you find your way through.
Depression
When you’re struggling with depression, even the simplest things can feel overwhelming. You might feel stuck, exhausted, disconnected, or unsure of how to move forward. At Heal the Mind Psychology, you don’t have to face it all on your own. It’s a safe, caring place to talk, be heard and gently begin finding your way back to yourself.
Anxiety Disorders
When anxiety takes hold, it can feel like your mind and body are constantly on high alert. Worry can make it difficult to switch off, be present or simply enjoy the precious moments in life.
Fiona provides a safe, caring place to talk about what you’re experiencing, feel heard and find your way towards calm, clarity and confidence, one step at a time.
Communication/Assertiveness Training
Being able to say what you mean, ask for what you need and set boundaries can make such a difference to our relationships and how we feel about ourselves. Fiona provides a safe, supportive place to build confidence in your communication, find your voice and learn to express yourself openly and assertively, without losing your kindness or your sense of self!
*** Alongside the areas explored above, Fiona also provides support with a range of other concerns, including:
Stress, Burnout & Boundary Settings.
Self-worth, Self-awareness & Sense of Identity & belongingness.
